Food and Beverage Council

The role of the Food and Beverage Council is to develop deeper industry intelligence and to build a strong industry cluster organization, value proposition and strategy that will result in industry growth, new food and beverage maker jobs and national attention. 

This invite-only leadership body is primarily composed of industry executives who represent our food and beverage industry, as well as community and education leaders.  

 

OUR 2017 STRATEGIC ACTIONS & ACTIONS

Support and Improve Talent Outreach and Development

Support and Improve Access to Food Safety Resources

  • Debut our site Food Safety Center, easing safety plan development and FSMA compliance and access to resources

  • Continue to offer food safety primers and best practice sessions, with our first on April 11th and another on June 13th

Support and Improve Food Business Growth

  • Debut two new growth primers including one for start-ups on May 8th and one for scaling and expanding companies this summer

  • Launch the FaBcap_two Accelerator program and kick-off with a conference in September

Support and Grow Industry Awareness 

  • Announce the site selected for The Future Center, as well as its early industry tenant commitments
