Position Summary:

The Troubadour Operations Manager – 3rd Shift, is responsible for end-to-end production and fulfillment of bakery and savory items to Colectivo Cafes and Troubadour wholesale accounts as it relates to Colectivo Coffee’s Mission and Values.

Education & Qualifications:

College degree in a business related field and/or a minimum of five years work experience in a management or supervisory position in a hospitality or customer service industry such as food services (café/restaurant), retail, or other service environment. Must possess strong communication, organizational and leadership skills, be enthusiastic and self-motivated. Must be flexible with time. Computer and spreadsheet skills are necessary.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership on production floor to support a culture of continual improvement that results in the production of remarkable products.
  • Understand and implement procedures that maximize efficiencies and control variances in daily production of product and overall business performance.
  • Understand and implement production quality control procedures and standards.
  • Coordinate production schedules to meet customer demand.
  • Develop procedures for inspecting, troubleshooting, and assessing any equipment problems.
  • Lead, as a role model, with integrity and empathy, communicate clear expectations, and consistently hold staff accountable to established performance standards. Manage co-workers to produce defined results. Provide timely and effective training, feedback, coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluation to drive excellence.
  • Build a team of customer-focused employees that focus on teamwork.
  • Demonstrate leadership in employee development.
  • Manage company resources responsibly including inventory control.
  • Oversight responsibilities including bread finishing, packaging, and distribution.
  • Liaison between bakery and logistics operations.•Facilities and inventory management.
  • Works in accordance with all federal, state, and local safe production facility requirements.
