How does your company stay innovatively nimble? Where do you find know-how and inspiration to continue your growth trajectory?

We suggest you turn out for our Annual FaBcap Pitch & Capstone Keynote on Thursday, June 21 at the Wisconsin Club in Milwaukee.

What will you gain by attending? All attendees will meet ten of our most promising small, but growing, food and beverage companies. We select ten each year to participate in our FaBcap accelerator program to elevate their capacity for growth. Our second FaBcap class of ten “Capper” companies have been put through an eight-month program which culminates with their pitches to our pitch panel of investors and advisers. They’re ready to impress you with their pitches and products.

You have the option to register for a Full-Day In & Out Pass to watch the pitches (8:30 am – 3:00 pm) and enjoy our Capstone Keynote & Awards Presentations (3:00 – 5:00 pm). Can’t make the full day? No worries. You can opt to attend just the Capstone Keynote & Awards Presentations (3:00 – 5:00 pm).

Our Capstone Keynote will be presented by Frank Jimenez, President & Managing Partner of EVOLVE Brands, a disrupter in the healthy snack industry with unique on-the-go products that are at the forefront of the next evolution in snacking. In January 2018, Evolve announced the purchase of FaBcap Class 1 Capper, Gorilly Goods, which makes six on-the-go products that are both savory and sweet in Jackson, Wisconsin. This is a FaBulous success story that includes EVOLVE Brands' Supernola line moving their operation to Jackson.

Prior to EVOLVE Brands, Frank was President of Zoetic: breakthrough, actionable marketing solutions — from ideation, through proof-of-concept testing, to installation. Jimenez's industry career includes nine years at Hershey’s with his most recently role of Sr. Director of Insights Driven Performance & Retail Evolution.

Attend if you’re a company that:

  • Innovates through acquisition or investment,
  • Thrives on innovative inspiration, or;
  • Is young and seeking to expand your network of resources and peers

The capstone of the day recognizes each Capper company. Awards will be given out by:

Technology Investment Manager
Wisconsin Economic Development Corp.

Technology Investment Manager
Wisconsin Economic Development Corp.

If you’re a mature business, attending will help to sharpen your innovative edge - there's just something about being around passionate and focused entrepreneurs. You might even find your company interested in investing, partnering, buying, or supporting one of our Cappers. If you’re a young company, you get a front row seat to soak it all in – you may even find yourself applying to for FaBcap 3.

President & Managing Partner

Frank Jimenez and Cindy Poiesz, founder of Supernola, combined forces to create EVOLVE Brands, an ideal mix of CPG industry leadership and on-the-ground product development expertise. EVOLVE Brands is disrupting the healthy snack industry with unique on-the-go products that are at the forefront of the next evolution in snacking. In January 2018, EVOLVE announced the purchase of FaBcap Class 1 participant Gorilly Goods, which makes six on-the-go products that are both savory and sweet. This story includes Supernola moving operations to the Gorilly Goods facility in Jackson, Wisconsin. Four varieties of nutrient dense, colorful clusters of soft-baked, sustainable, anti-inflammatory packed energy, the Supernola line is Certified Paleo and is transitioning to organic.

Prior to EVOLVE Brands, Frank was President of Zoetic: breakthrough, actionable marketing solutions, from ideation, through proof-of-concept testing, to installation.
