Will you meat up with FaB’s Industry Growth Committee for a Committee Feature Presentation on Monday, August 13 in Madison? We’re proud to partner with FaBcap sponsor JP Cullen and UW-Madison to offer you an exclusive, by invitation only, sneak peek into the new, state-of-the-art Meat Sciences Laboratory.
 
Periodically throughout the year, FaB’s Committees will be featuring guest speakers and special opportunities for our food and beverage companies, like this early look into the new UW-Madison Meat Sciences Laboratory being constructed by JP Cullen. The new laboratory comes with a mission of training the next generation of meat industry leaders, supporting innovative research, and providing outreach education. There is no fee to attend, but pre-registration is required with limited space available. Registration deadline of August 1.
 


WHO'S INVITED?

One per food and beverage company with a focus on meat industry companies, along with gFaB Committee members.

A little about the Meat Science Laboratory which is rooted in the Wisconsin Idea, a principle that the university should improve people’s lives beyond the classroom. It spans UW–Madison’s teaching, research, outreach and public service. Historically, the faculty have worked closely with the meat industry to solve real-world problems while educating students to become industry leaders.
As problems become more complex, a cross-campus, multidimensional approach is required while engaging the industry. This approach is supported by faculty and staff in food safety, engineering, veterinary medicine, animal agriculture and biology.

PARKING
