On March 19, innovation went international. 

The delegation from New Frontiers in Food for our International Forum focused on new food technologies was a hit with our members! Their products and services ranged from Viking-inspired craft beer to nutritionally-dense buffalo beetles, sweetener from miracle berries to supplements from mushrooms, plus printed nutrients, dynamic packaging, and more. Attendees had the opportunity to hear from all 14 companies in a rapid fire one-minute introduction format.

Also speaking was a panel of leaders representing the three of the five food cluster organizations that comprise New Frontiers in Food (each similar to FaB), based in Spain (Clusaga), the Netherlands (Food Valley), France (Valorial and Vitagora), and Belgium (Wagralim).

Fortified Food: Developed a new patented "nutrient delivery system" for added vitamins, minerals, and extra proteins

Galactic: Provider of natural solutions in the food, feed, personal & health care and industrial markets

GreenFood50 B.V.: Develops, produces, and supplies innovative quinoa ingredients from low saponin quinoa

LRPhysics: Providing market and product data

Mobeefox: A packaging manufacturer offering a web platform to easily create and modify interactive information via packaging

Nizo: A world leader in contract research for better food health

Protifarm: Producing functional, nutritionally-dense, and sustainable ingredients from Buffalo beetles

Saint Fernan: Producing elegant ciders from acidulous varieties of apples and pears

Valrhona: Premium chocolate manufacturer for baking

How do they do it? A moderated cluster panel comprised of one representative from each New Frontier in Foods cluster organization. Attendees learned what each cluster does to promote and facilitate industry growth, innovation, and leadership.
