MILWAUKEE, WI — The owner owner of a local gluten-free baking company said she's setting up at this weekend's Bay View Bash to give people who can't eat wheat products the chance to still enjoy fair food.

"We are so excited to be able to offer a stress-free, delicious experience of eating dedicated gluten free food made on dedicated gluten free equipment," Maureen Schuerman said, owner of Wickedly Wholesome, a local gluten free company.

In addition to all items being guaranteed gluten free, there will be items available for those that cannot consume dairy or soy. Those items will include:

● Beer battered cheese curds
● Mozzarella sticks
● Funnel cakes
● French fries
● Burgers and hot dogs

For those with gluten sensitivity or Celiac Disease, choosing food items outside of the home can be not only a stressful, but unsafe experience, she said. Wickedly Wholesome will be participating at Bay View Bash, Sept. 21. "Being able to offer a stress-free festival experience to many who all too often do not get to partake in the delectable goodies we call "fair food" is something that we are proud to do," she said.

The Bay View Bash will take place on Saturday, Sept. 21 between Potter and Clement on Kinnickinnic Ave. in Bay View, Milwaukee. from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
