Food Safety Planning for the Near Future in the COVID-19 Era: A Workforce Protection Program for the Food & Beverage Industry

Our May 21 Food Safety Check-In Session will be directly addressing the Workforce and Manufacturing Facility Food Safety challenges in creating a “new normal” that is sustainable and restores productivity, from employer policies, employee screening, and training to facility layout, workplace sanitation, regulatory compliance, and crisis management.   

This Food Safety Check-In will be moderated by Pat Werner, FaB’s Director of Food Safety and Paul Benson, Partner at Michael Best and FaB Food Safety Forum Co-Chair. It'll feature presentations by Dr. Mark Roberts of Exponent, Brian Harms of TRC, and Michael Best's Chuck Palmer, followed by a Q&A.

The key points include a technical and regulatory approach, including scientific models.

  • Epidemiology, Facility and Equipment Sanitation, Preventive Controls

FaB Check-Ins are for members only and are free, available online via Zoom. Our Food Safety Check-Ins focus on members’ questions, resources, and sharing of best practices pertaining to food safety, quality and regulatory challenges facing our food and beverage companies.  Each check-in will feature member round robins, guest speakers, and time for posting your questions with members responding. We’ll follow our check-ins with activity in our private LinkedIn Food Safety Forum and Resource Forum groups.
