FaB Wisconsin’s membership reflects the strength of our state’s food and beverage ecosystem. Within the knowledge and experience of our industry professionals lies the expertise, know-how, and connections you’ll need for sustainable growth and to see you through challenging times.

To tap that know-how, we offer members online FaB Forums designed to connect you directly with others experiencing and responding to similar challenges, successes, and best practices. These Forums will operate within private LinkedIn groups managed and monitored by FaB.

We're piloting six FaB Forums in 2020: five food and beverage company-only Peer Forums cross-pollinating company needs into one all-member Resource Forum to surface needed resources.

Resource Forum members share a common desire to share and tap industry knowledge, ideas and solutions to meet their business needs.The Resource Forum will also feed off of the Peer Forums. As FaB monitors the activity in its Peer Forums, emerging and common issues and challenges will be synthesized and posted to the Resource Forum to surface needed solutions, resources, questions and best practices.

FaB Peer Forums are for member food and beverage company professionals only, defined as makers, manufacturers, distributors, or retailers of food and beverage products, ingredients, packaging or equipment. See a full list of company types that qualify.
Peer Forum members share common food and beverage industry roles, responsibilities, experience, and interest to foster a purposeful peer setting. Their activity will foster a purposeful industry peer outlet for easy access to members who share common food and beverage industry roles, responsibilities, and experience.

WHAT CAN THE FORUMS DO FOR YOU?

These private members-only LinkedIn groups are managed and monitored by FaB. They're a place for Forum members to post their questions and challenges in pursuit of resources and ideas they’ll need for success.

Bottom line, access to our Member Forums is free, and:

  • Food and beverage company professionals gain access to their peers online to offer an easy exchange of experience, ideas, and potential solutions.
  • Our members gain access to industry resources, expertise, and the experience within the FaB membership base and member contacts.

HOW WILL FORUMS BE MANAGED AND MONITORED?

It starts with members agreeing to our Code of Conduct. As a member of a FaB Forum, you must agree to the Forum Code of Conduct:

  1. I agree to interact online showing respect for my fellow Forum members and for their privacy.
  2. I recognize that while not confidential to my fellow Forum members, postings and discussions in FaB Forums are not for public distribution.
  3. I agree to keep my postings and interactions related to work only and to my Forum's focus.
  4. I understand that FaB Forums are to be directly relevant to my Forum's area of emphasis and should feed into finding solutions.

FaB staff and Forum Chairs will manage and monitor Forum content, following and encouraging Forum activity to address challenges being faced and success being experienced. They'll also watch for emerging themes and threads that need greater attention.

FaB reserves the right to remove any individual found not adhering to our Code of Conduct.

1. Verify your company's membership. You must be employed by a FaB member company in good standing. Check here for an up-to-date list of members in good standing.

2. Confirm you have an active profile on LinkedIn - you'll need it to participate.

3. Select the Forum(s) based on your job title or areas of responsibility by clicking on the LinkedIn group(s) below. Then click the blue "Request to join" button with the LinkedIn group page.

4. We'll verify your request. 
a. If you're approved, you'll gain access to the group within 24 hours.
b. If you are not approved, we'll follow up via email or LinkedIn message to let you know why.
