The Project Commercialization Manager will provide leadership and coordination of cross-functional teams to enable execution of projects from concept to commercialization/completion. Primary responsibilities will include leading the new product innovation process and commercialization tracking, creation, communication, and management of project timelines, and holding team members accountable to deliverables while ensuring executional excellence.



Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of projects including new product innovation, product/packaging/process optimization, and event timeline management.
  • Establish and manage project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resources to ensure delivery of project goals.
  • Manage monthly gate review process for cross-functional review/approval of new projects and ensure business case documentation supports transition of active projects to the next stage.
  • Facilitate team project meetings to enable status updates, resolve issues, and drive progress against tasks and deliverables. Maintain and issue action registers and updated timelines.
  • Collaborate with team to identify and manage risks through development of mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Coordinate post-launch reviews to identify opportunities for optimization/course correction, lessons learned, and best practices that can be applied to future projects.
  • Develop and continuously improve commercialization management processes to streamline projects and improve efficiency.
  • Coach the cross-functional team on best practices, processes, and procedures and ensure they are being followed and completed.
  • Comply with all Company rules, regulations and policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • 3-5 years of commercialization project management, preferably in CPG industry.
  • Experience/familiarity with Stage Gate process preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite including MS Project/other project management application preferred. Exposure to customer portals a plus.

  • Ability to effectively work with, communicate with, and present to all levels of the organization and product development teams.
  • Knowledge of food industry a plus
  • Demonstrated success in delivering projects on time and in budget through organization, planning, attention to detail, accountability, and communication tools.
  • Ability to manage and mitigate project risks; problem solve, pivot, and quickly provide strategic solutions.
  • Ability to observe food production processes in our refrigerated production facility as needed.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to multi-task, manage workload, work well with others in stressful situations, and meet deadlines as necessary.
