What You Do

  • This is a Techno-Functional role, that assists with and/or executes the analysis, configuration, implementation, and testing of information systems to support the goals and objectives of the Corporation.
  • Specific responsibility for the ongoing technical support and implementation of application software systems including but not limited to various modules of SAP S/4HANA and other allied and/or integrated solutions.
  • Further, the incumbent carries specific responsibility for continually improving knowledge of the relevant applications portfolio.
  • Duties of the position are generally apportioned to available time as follows:
    • Creates new and updates existing application configurations to meet design requirements in full compliance with formal change management and other governance protocols.
    • Supports the writing and execution of functional and user acceptance test cases to ensure that solutions meet specifications and function correctly.
    • Writes and maintains documentation to describe solution configuration, process flow and behavior, testing, defects, and incident/problem resolution.
    • Creates and provides training documents for new or modified processes or functionality for end users or technical support staff.
    • Works to identify system solutions or new functionality to address business requirements in new or existing processes.
    • Recommends application changes, functionality alternatives, and/or formulates requests for custom development.
    • Drafts functional and technical design documents related to relevant applications based on business requirements.
    • Builds and maintains expertise in the broad application architecture and functionality of SAP S/4 HANA and other allied and/or integrated solutions.
    • Works to develop and maintain a business process view for all applications assigned in collaboration with the full Applications Group, and with end-users.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required
  • 3-5 years of industrial Business Applications experience (non-software-specific)
  • 2+ years of SAP S/4 HANA and/or SAP ECC implementation and support experience required
  • Broad knowledge of SAP SD and/or MM modules preferred
  • Familiarity with Materials Management, Production Planning, Materials Requirement Planning, Inventory Management, Transportation Management, and/or Warehouse Management business processes is important to this role.
  • Specific knowledge of the SAP MM, SD, PP, PPDS, WM, EWM, QM, and PM modules is beneficial.
