What You Do

  • Manages the Microsoft Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy environment.
  • Responsible for OKTA Identity Services to provide single sign-on and multifactor authentication.
  • Also, manages MS Certificate services and SafeNet systems to ensure secure remote access.
  • Manages cloud-based O365 e-mail service and related on-prem systems.
  • Ensure that service to users is within their service level expectations while making certain systems comply with corporate retention and e-discovery policies.
  • Responsible for MIMECAST cloud-based email archiving and protection services, to assure all e-mail is retained based upon the Sargento corporate retention policies and reduce the risk of potential cybersecurity breaches related to phishing attacks.
  • Manages the VMware virtualization platform and ensures the installation of upgrades, patches, and new versions of all VMware components (VSphere, VCenter, Site Recovery Manager, etc.).
  • Responsible for the administration of the VMware hardware platform that supports all virtualized systems running on the Intel platform; this includes provisioning of computing hardware as needed, applying firmware upgrades, and performing break-fix to ensure system performance, resiliency and security.
  • Manages the Citrix XenApp 5 systems and ensures the installation and administration of upgrades, patches, and new versions of Citrix and all desktop components.
  • Manages the Citrix environments that support the Sargento desktop, MES Systems, and the
  • Manages the MES systems and ensure the installation and administration of upgrades, patches, and new versions of system components while collaborating with Industrial Network Systems (INS).
  • Assist with user requests and issues to ensure the MES systems perform at a high level with minimal downtime.
  • Ensures all software is properly supported, accurately documented, and in full compliance with vendor licensing agreements.
  • Makes certain Sargento systems remain current and services meet business expectations.
  • Develops technical documentation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures of the supported technologies.
  • Leads the research of emerging technologies, services, protocols, and standards in support of security enhancement and development efforts.
  • Stays future-focused and provides strategic direction regarding security design and best practices.
  • Provides 2nd Level support to the end-user community, when needed, through Service Desk personnel escalation, to resolve problems that could not be solved by the Service Desk Team.
  • Provides education and coaching to less-skilled team members.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science or related field required
  • 6+ years relevant Microsoft System Administrator experience
  • Must be willing to work outside of normal work hours for special projects and on-call responsibilities.
  • Must be willing to work under flooring, in wiring closets, ceilings, and walls as necessary.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to remote sites is required.
